| I photographed this young Saw-Whet Owl in the branches of a small dogwood tree located in the enclosed courtyard of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. I used a Canon G3 digital camera and stood about 3 to 4 feet from it at just below eye level. The owl stayed on its perch all day while groups of students gathered around to view it. It flew away late afternoon. |
